Gameplay

About the game

Humanity is clearing out the city, and this time the undead are the ones defending. You command the horde: build towers, wall off the streets, and force soldiers, APCs and helicopters down one long killing corridor instead of a straight road to your Nest.

A 20-level campaign teaches the mechanics and unlocks new enemies and new towers. Survival throws endless waves, assault waves and bosses at you across four arenas. Every run pays Scrap, and Scrap buys permanent upgrades in the Workshop that carry into every future run.

  • You are the horde

    Play the undead side. Soldiers, armored vehicles and aircraft raid your Nest; your towers are crewed by zombies.

  • Build the maze

    Walls do not shoot, but they reroute. Turn a straight road into a long loop past your guns. A path to the Nest must always remain.

  • Ten tower families

    Machine guns, grenades, frost, poison, artillery and tesla, plus gatling, railgun, rockets and anti-air earned in Survival. Three tiers each, with a branch choice at tier 3.

  • Campaign and Survival

    Twenty campaign levels, then endless Survival on four arenas with assault waves, bosses and a best-wave record to beat.

  • Workshop and mods

    Scrap from every run buys permanent upgrades. Mod crates drop in battle and turn a single tower into a specialist.

  • Plays anywhere

How to play

  1. Pick a tower from the bottom bar and tap an empty tile to build it.
  2. Block the direct road with walls so enemies take a long loop past your guns.
  3. Tap a tower to upgrade it through three tiers, or sell it.
  4. Start the next wave early for a gold bonus, and build between waves.
  5. Keep enemies away from the Nest. Aircraft ignore your maze, so bring anti-air.
